Agemark Senior Living has been selected to manage Sunol Creek Memory Care in Pleasanton, CA. Sunol Creek Memory Care exclusively provides a safe and welcoming home for those who live with Alzheimer’s disease or another type of dementia. The community has been open for 10 years. The management transition will occur on June 4, 2024.
According to Sunol Creek owner Nick Kavayiotidis, Agemark’s wealth of experience in memory care was key in the selection of a new management partner. “Agemark boasts decades of experience operating free-standing memory care buildings with great success. I’m excited for our continued partnership and have full confidence in the Agemark team.”
Agemark recently became the managing entity of another Kavayiotidis-owned community, The Terraces at Via Verde in San Dimas, CA.
Brands under the Agemark’s management now include Astoria, CountryHouse, Holland Farms, Kensington-Evergreen, Kingston Bay, Sage Glendale, Sage Mountain, Serra Sol, TreVista and The Terraces at Via Verde. Following the transition of Sunol Creek, seventeen of Agemark’s managed communities will offer focused memory care, with another ten offering memory care services as part of a larger continuum of care. In 2023, 17 of Agemark’s communities earned the highest possible rating in the 2023-24 publication of U.S. News Best Senior Living.
